Words Studies
There are words whose history it is peculiarly interesting to watch, as they obtain a deeper meaning, and receive a new consecration, in The New Testament; words which The Holy Spirit did not invent, but assumed into service, and employed in a far more loftier sense than to which the world has ever put them before. (Re. Richard C. Trench, Synonyms of the New Testament)
The studies in this section explore some of these words and their service in the doctrines, commands, and actions within the Scriptures.
