Welcome

Our Desire

Henry Thiessen correctly made the following statement concerning the purpose of God in creation.(1) “In our treatment of the Decrees of God we maintained that they were not due to any necessity in God, nor primarily due to the desire for the happiness and the holiness of the creature. They were, instead, formulated with a view to His own glory, -- in order to display His glory and in order to receive glory from the creature.”
“The same motive that caused God to formulate His purpose also actuated Him in carrying them out. That is, He created all things for His own glory. First of all, in order to display His glory.” (Ps. 8:1, O Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.) (Isa 40:5, And the glory of the Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.)
“He created secondly, in order to receive glory.” (1 Cor. 10:31, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.)

The objective of this web site is in some small way to fulfill this purpose placed upon all of God’s creation to glorify Him. We hope that all that is presented reflects this aim. We hold this principle to be both a guideline and motivation for all our conduct and beliefs. Thus, our primary goal is to render unto our God and Creator the glory for which cause He has made us. In short, to please Him.

Our aim is twofold, with one purpose. The one purpose is to help people to be prepared for eternity. The aim is for both the saved and the lost.

Nothing is meant to offend, deride, harm or be mean-spirited. But, what is written is found to be gentle, truthful and with love. It is for you, our reader, that our desire is to edify and give spiritual inspiration. It is to be expected that not all will agree with what is presented. If offense is found, may it be because of the nature of the truth of the Word of God, and not because any lack of respect for the individual.

If you have not come to a belief in Christ, in God’s salvation for you, please consider His love for you and the work He has done on your behalf. This is a most personal decision and if God is drawing you, do not resist. Be quick to soften your heart and do not let pride, opinions of others, or misunderstandings hinder you. To test the justifiability of receiving Christ and the magnificent gift of eternal life, ask those who have done so if they have ever regretted it. God’s desire for you is only for your good. He lives, He is true, He is good, and He invites you to come to Him.

      God Bless You.
